Outside of a great education and years of experience, one of the most crucial pieces of a successful Law Practice is having a great website.  In many cases your website will be the first impression you can make with prospective clients.  It is an essential piece of your firms marketing and identity, and your prospective clients expect that you’ll have one.  Chances are high that you probably do, but just having a website with a nice design, attorney photos, and a listing of your services is no longer enough.  Your website needs to do one thing exceptionally well – convince visitors that you are the best lawyer for their needs.  If this is not achieved they will leave your site and head to your competitors. 

Think of how the majority of potential new clients find you.  In cases where the situation is private or the need is urgent, the first place many individuals turn to is the internet.  It’s anonymous, it’s fast, and it’s convenient.   A study conducted in 2009 showed that over 82% of people use search engines to find local services, such as a good lawyer.  As we all become mobile enabled, that number will continue to rise.  This alone increases the importance and critical nature of your firm’s website.
