Social Media

Think you can sit the social networking craze out?  Social media growth continues to skyrocket and Social networks have taken over email in terms of popularity. In the social media world, Facebook is the top dog and continues growing rapidly. In fact, in 2010 Facebook took the lead away from Google as the most visited site on the internet.

Social Media presents your law firm with a rich set of new tools to help in the effort to generate new clientele.  People want information from friends they trust, versus the anonymity of a search engine. Social media conversations serve that need; they are open, honest, transparent conversations, not sales pitches.

Traditional marketing tactics such as advertising, referrals, and public relations are still very important, but a social media marketing strategy should become a part of your everyday marketing efforts.  Don’t treat your social media activity as something separate from your other marketing initiatives. Feature links to your social media profiles in your email signature, on your business cards, in your ads, and as a standard block of copy in your weekly email newsletter.
